Synesthesia: Serenading with Sound and Light

Our whimsical installation (a collaboration with the Portland band little hexes) mashes up light and sound, science and community with 19 suspended interactive nodes. The 18-foot-wide matrix responds to movement with a vibrant and ever changing harmonic experience. Since debuting at the Portland Winter Light Festival, Light Chimes has been featured at multiple museums, a music festival, and an art center.
